Our own Dr. Samantha Swisher passed her final examination last week and was awarded her American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) specialty in Exotic Companion Medicine! You may remember Dr. Swisher completed her exotic companion mammal residency with us a few years back, and stayed on with us as an associate. Now Indiana has two board certified specialists in one location-congratulations Dr. Swisher!
In related news, we learned that Dr. Amber Lee, AEAC alumni passed her final examination and was awarded her American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) specialty in Avian medicine! Dr. Lee completed her residency with us as well, and is practicing exotic animal medicine on the East Coast.
We are very proud of both doctors and their accomplishments, which required years of work and study.
